Dear friends and blog readers,

So sorry I haven't been around much lately.
Ben J. and I have been REALLY busy getting ready for the Renegade Craft Fair.
It ended yesterday, so now I'm all yours.

Here are a couple of photos of our booth:

Despite getting really stressed and a slight yelling match with somebody, I had fun and enjoyed myself.
I didn't make as much dough as I had hoped—there were a lot of silkscreened t-shirts being sold at the fair so I guess it's hard to stand out—but Ben did really well! I'm really happy for him. His work was very popular. =)

What I'm really proud of is this knit rubberband tank dress (plus eyeless ski mask) I made and put on display. Check this lady out:

It was definitely something most people stopped to stare at, touch, or take photos of.
I didn't think it would have made that big of an impact, but it did and I'm glad!

I made an eyeless ski mask. I finished it this morning

Here's some progress:

And here is some blur:

On the bus to work I started another one.
Stay tuned. =)

I know I KNOW I know these have already been seen and talked about.
But as I was looking for ski mask/balaclava knitting patterns last night, I came across them. (And the patterns!)

I'd forgotten about them, but now I will never forget.

I'm kinda into the idea of creating more conceptual balaclavas/ski masks, but those aren't the direction I'd like to go in.

I might try my hand at making one of these, though. I just need to get some of those Red Heart one pound skeins.

I REALLLLY want a knitting machine.
Please help.
